The thing that resonated the most with our school was the ignorance surrounding privacy issues. The impact is huge both for students and staff.

We loved looking at some of the new online tools (such as powtoon and socrative) and to spend time trying socrative so that we can actually use it. We really enjoyed Sandra's discussion about the photo of the educator going viral!! Scary!!

1. It's important to not make assumptions about what kids know. That we need to teach them things like good passwords and screen names. How digital citizenship is based on social skills.
